Hijacked thrown off R300 bridge
A man who fell 15m to his death was thrown
by hijackers in Cape Town and was not pushed
by a friend as initially reported. Luis de
Faria, 42, was thrown from the R300 bridge
near Cape Town, reported Die Burger. His
widow, Tania de Faria, 41, spoke after being
informed by police that her husband’s body
was found in a ditch next to the N1.
She last saw her husband when he left their
Welgemoed home in her car on Wednesday
morning.
