Self Install Option will be the option for customers requiring ADSL access and being confident enough that with the assistance of Salestronics they'd be able to complete the installation of the ADSL modem without a Telkom technician's assistance.

The advantages include a cheaper and quicker installation as it cuts out the waiting for a Telkom technician to confirm an appointment. The customer will also have the option to purchase a modem on a Telkom contract or by means of a once off payment from Salestronics.

Telkom requires that the client come into one of their service branches to fill in the forms for this method of application and for that they also don't charge the R 404.00 once off installation fee as per usual Telkom technician installed option.
